Welcome to our new kindies

This year we have six new kindy students joining our school. We welcome these students, who all have older siblings at the school already, and wish them every success in 2007 at Heritage.

Parent Information Session

Today all parents are invited to attend Parent Information Sessions relevant to the year level of their child. The infants class session commences at 2:00pm, the Primary session commences at 3:15pm and the High School Session commences at 4:00pm. All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Parents please sign diaries

Parents of students in years 6-10 are asked to sign their child's diary each week. This is designed to ensure that parents are informed of their child's homework commitments.

Classes commence in 2007

Classes have commenced for 2007 and year 11-12 students are encouraged to commence the year in an organised and efficient way. Students need to keep class notes neat and tidy, avoid missing classes wherever possible, and study new material each night. Students will be sitting for Maths, English, Chemistry and Biology exams this year.

TVET courses commence at TAFE this week. Students are taken to the train when required, but students must return home by their own transport arrangements.

Welcome Back in 2007

Today was the first day back at school for 2007 for all students at Heritage College Cooranbong. It was great to see everyone smiling and enthusiastic in returning to school. It seems everyone had a refreshing holiday and are now ready a raring to go in the new school year.

We welcomed 9 new students today. Six new kindies and three other students in various other year levels. Our numbers are now 86 day students - the most ever! It is great to see that the school continues to grow.

Distance Education for students in year K-6 continues under the direction of Aunty Ingrid Ryan. We now have over 20 DE students from around NSW. It's great to have so many families participating from a variety of locations.

May God bless our efforts at Heritage College throughout 2007.

New Upgraded Website

Heritage College now has a new upgraded website. This will enable us to make the website more useful in the daily operation of the school. The calendar will be automatically updated on a daily basis. The students will also be able to publish work on the website in 2007.

We appreciate the help of Jared Wiltshire who has invested a great deal of time and effort into this project.
