The Great Aussie Bush Camp

The students all enjoyed the Great Aussie Bush Camp over the last three days. It was just sensational. The activities were great for building self esteem and team building within the class groups. The supportive atmosphere between the students as they tackled challenging activities together was terrific. The activities included kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, swimming, archery, high ropes, giant swing, giant slide, leap of faith, and much more. If you want to know how much the kids loved it, just ask one of them! Thanks to all the staff who attended too.

Working Bee

Thank you to everyone who attended the Working Bee last Saturday. We got a lot done, including concreting, gardening, building, cleaning, and more. Your assistance is invaluable and indispensable. We appreciate it!

Seussical Performance

Last night we had nearly a full house to our first Seussical Performance. It was well received. It's lots of fun for the students. Thanks to everyone who came along. For those attending on Saturday night, the venue is the Warners Bay Performing Arts Centre on Lake Road, Warners Bay. The starting time is 7:30. Tickets should be booked, as it will be a full house. Programs will cost $5.00 and refreshments are available in the foyer. The audience will not be admitted until 7:10pm.

See you on Saturday!

Heritage Hebrew students visit Moriah College

This year three Heritage Cooranbong students are studying HSC Classical Hebrew. This is a very difficult course, which requires the students to learn to read a large number of chapters of the Old Testament in Hebrew, as well as a number of chapters of the Mishnah in Hebrew. This is very challenging and three students, Hannah, Johanna and Amy, are making huge strides in being able to read and understand Hebrew. Today the students visited Moriah College, the largest Jewish school in Australia, to receive specialist help on the Mishnah. We appreciate Moriah's help. Keep up the good work, girls!

Welcome to our brand new website

Welcome to the website of Heritage College Cooranbong. It has been a goal of ours for several months now to have an informative website for the benefit of the community of Heritage College. This is it! We hope you find it helpful.

The Calendar will be of particular use to parents and friends. It will contain all the major events coming up. This will be as up to date as possible.

Also of interest is the newsletter page which will contain the latest newsletters, which are usually published on Thursdays and issued to families on Thursday afternoons. Back copies will also be stored here.

We will try and put photos on the page which will be of interest to community members.

Feedback on the page is welcome.

Thank you to Jared Wiltshire for all the hours he has invested in the design and implentation of the site.
