Cricket Match

Heritage College Cooranbong played a 20-20 game of cricket against Heritage Sydney on Tuesday. It was a beautiful day and the two teams were looking forward to the match. The final scores were Heritage Cooranbong 114, Heritage Sydney 58. Thank you to both teams for the spirit in which the game was played. Congratulations to the Cooranbong team for winning. We hope there will be more matches of this kind.

Swimming Carnival

The Heritage College Swimming Carnival was held last Friday and it was a huge success. The students all took part in events and it was well supported by parents and friends. Congratulations to Gamla, the winning team on the day. It was good to see Gamla do so well, given that Masada has won the Trophy for the past several years. Congratulations also to Jordan Ryan and Lori Stretton who won the "Best Senior Swimmer" and "Best Junior Swimmer trophies respectively. Thank you to all the parent helpers on the day.

Welcome Back to 2008

Welcome back, everyone, for 2008. It looks like being an exciting year at Heritage College. Once again it is great to see the smiling faces of all the students as they return to school and see their friends again. May God bless our plans for this year.

Special Meeting

There will be a Special Parents and Friends Information Evening held on Tuesday 5 February in the School Assembly Room at 7:30pm. This evening will outline what 2008 has in store for Heritage College, God willing. The details of the new site will be shared with the community, and the plans will be explained. There will also be two special guests from Adelaide Heritage College - James Mansfield and Brian Luke.

We encourage everyone to come along. Bring a plate for supper if you can.

Child minding will be available.

Presentation Night

Presentation Night will be held on Monday 10 December at 7pm. All welcome.

School Council Dinner

The School Council held its Annual Dinner tonight and presented to the Heritage Community the plans for the new school site which the Council has agreed to purchase. This was enthusiastically received by the community and the plans presented excited parents, friends and students. We look forward to working with the entire community on this new phase of the school's development. Inquiries about the plans can be directed to Garnet Alchin, Aaron Stretton or Luke Tappouras.

Gymnastics for Sport

The Infants and Primary students will be participating in gymnastics this Wednesday at Glendale. It should be great fun. Students should bring a water bottle for refreshment. The High School students will also be participating in gymnastics on Fridays.

HSC Exams

The HSC Exams begin this Friday. We wish all our HSC students all the best for their exams. English is their first exam. The exams run over approx 3 weeks. The exams are held in the Cooranbong Community Centre.
